People were just relaxing by the shore, enjoying the sun, the sound of the waves, and a calm day, when suddenly everyone\u2019s attention was drawn to a group of fishermen near the pier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fishermen were struggling to haul something massive up from the depths of the sea. When the fish finally surfaced, gasps of astonishment spread through the crowd \u2014 no one had ever seen anything like it here before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The enormous body swung on the hook, dripping with water, as a curious crowd of onlookers gathered around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fish was already dead and showed no signs of life, but nobody seemed to care. The fishermen were glowing with excitement \u2014 a catch like this was the luck of a lifetime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They laughed, posed for photos with their prize, and someone joked that with a fish that size, they could feed an entire town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tourists, amazed by its size, came closer, filmed, took selfies, and children tried to touch the huge gray body, coated in a thick layer of slime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 \u201cLook at that, it\u2019s a giant!\u201d \u2014 someone shouted from the crowd, and the fishermen straightened up proudly, as if the praise was meant for them personally.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u2014 \u201cWe caught it deep down, almost by the old reef,\u201d said one of them importantly, wiping the sweat from his forehead. \u201cYou never see anything like that there!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But when one of the fishermen took a knife and decided to cut open the belly to show what the sea creature had eaten, the chatter on the pier stopped. The crowd moved closer, holding their breath. The blade glinted in the sunlight, and a thick, dark liquid poured out. The fisherman stepped back, while another bent down in disbelief and pulled something out. It was a smartphone \u2014 covered in slime, but surprisingly intact, as if it had just fallen into the water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At first, everyone thought it was a joke, but when one of the men pressed the power button, the screen suddenly lit up. The camera icon blinked \u2014 and a video started playing.<\/p>\n\n\n

On the recording, a man was seen in a boat. He was shouting something, holding the phone in front of him, the wind was howling, and the water around him was raging. For a brief moment, the same cliffs could be seen \u2014 the ones just behind the pier where people were now standing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 \u201cHelp! Somebody!\u201d \u2014 the man shouted on the video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The image shook, the camera went underwater \u2014 and the screen went black.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Silence fell over the pier. The fishermen stood pale and motionless. Someone turned the phone off, another tried to replay the video, but nothing appeared again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, it turned out that the phone belonged to a man who had disappeared three weeks earlier during a storm in those very waters. His boat was never found.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And according to experts, such a fish shouldn\u2019t even exist in that region. No one could explain where it had come from \u2014 or how a phone ended up inside it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
