After work, I was heading home. Outside, a snowstorm was raging, and the streets were almost deserted. Everything seemed normal \u2014 I was thinking about the evening, about getting home before the weather got worse \u2014 until I saw a car parked right in the middle of the road, its headlights still on. Next to it stood two large men, as if they were waiting for someone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At first glance, it looked like a typical roadside scene: a car had broken down, and someone needed help \u2014 things like that happen often, and every driver knows that if you can, you should stop and lend a hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The men by the hood turned toward me, motioning for me to stop, but there was no trace of desperation in their eyes \u2014 everything looked staged and forced. In that moment, I realized: this wasn\u2019t a breakdown. It was a trap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
